I have been given the responsibility of handling a yard on my own, being trusted with keys, and the safety of the yard. i have also been trusted with looking after horses on my own, making sure they are well kept and happy.

I have dealt with all types of horses, including stallions, foals, youngsters, eventers, and hunters, so have a fair bit of knowledge! i have been given the seat to help get horses fit for their season, including Canter work, hacking, jumping and more! i have also had the experience of bandaging, clipping and plaiting.

I have worked on a stud yard, handling young horses, stallions and mares & foals. i’ve developed skills in handling all types of horses in this job. i have also helped out with hunting horses too! i’ve been left on a stud yard by myself with 25 horses, managing there routines whilst the managers were away.

i have ridden hunting horses, eventers and some youngsters, helping with groundwork, jumping, and flatwork. as-well as canter work, the long line, and lunging.

i’ve helped and dressage shows, making sure the horses as clean, presentable and well kept between shows.
