No formal equine college qualifications, however I have over 25 years of hands-on industry experience across racing, breeding, showing and international showjumping. My experience has been gained practically through working in professional yards, competition environments and running my own equine businesses.

I have around 25 years’ professional equine experience, working across international showjumping, racing, breeding, showing, stud work and private/home yards. I have worked with everything from foals, weanlings and yearlings through to stallions, broodmares, fit racehorses and international competition horses. My experience includes Head Groom responsibilities, leading teams, organising yard routines, riding and exercising, breaking and schooling youngsters, clipping, plaiting and high-standard turnout. I have worked for a top rider in Germany and spent four years grooming on major circuits in America. I have also run my own horse transport business and livery/production yard. I am confident with sharp, sensitive, nervous and young horses and pride myself on excellent horse care and attention to detail. I also compete in showing, produce my own horses, and have experience judging and ring stewarding.

• Extensive experience handling foals, weanlings, yearlings and youngstock, including early education, leading, manners, feet handling and preparation for farrier/vet.
• Confident and experienced handling stallions, fit competition horses, racehorses, broodmares and youngsters.
• Leadership and yard management experience, including overseeing day-to-day yard routines, organising workloads and maintaining high standards across the yard.

Experienced and confident rider with 25 years in the industry. Ridden everything from ponies and young/green horses to fit racehorses and international competition horses. Experienced in flatwork, schooling, hacking, jumping and producing youngsters. Confident riding sharp, sensitive and forward-going horses, as well as exercising and bringing horses back into work. Petite rider, so equally comfortable riding ponies and horses.

Extensive competition experience both as a rider and professional groom. Worked on competition yards from grassroots through to international showjumping, including time working for a top rider in Germany and four years grooming on major circuits in America. Experienced travelling to shows, horse care, preparation and high-standard turnout. I also compete in showing, producing and showing my own horses, and have experience judging and ring stewarding.
