Equine Work Experience
I immigrated from South Africa just short of two years ago. I since then have been part of a team at a flat racing stud yard.
Here I have seen through two breeding and foaling seasons where the stud has produced up to 20 foals per season.
I have successfully completed a yearling prep and attending the sales.
The stud also stables horses in training for rest as well as the injured for rehabilitation.
In these two years I have gained the knowledge and skills for the basic running of a stud and basic horse handling and care.
