Duties of Current Occupation
Groom/work rider at various racing yards - Flat and National Hunt Groom/work rider at hunter livery yard Stud hand and breaker at Bloodstock yard - predominantly flat racers Freelance groom and teacher for pony club families 5* event yard
Equine Work Experience
Had horses all my life and have always worked in the industry. Everything from general riding, breaking, breeding and a little bit of natural horsemanship.
Specialities
Have my own stallions and have previously had stallions in for schooling/competition livery. Worked with foals at bloodstock yard and have some experience with foaling down. Sole charge as the stay at home groom on a small 5*/livery yard. Worked at a showjumping stud in Australia. Also work at a riding school, occasionally teaching but mostly in change of the horses and ponies in residence.
Type of Ride Work
Very sticky, happy to ride anything. Knowledge in schooling, jumping and hunting. Used to riding youngsters and problem horses, lightweight so happy to ride smaller ponies too.
Competition Details
Have worked in 5* eventing yards and a showjumping stud as a work rider. Competed unto BE100 and team chased.
