After being a yard manager for 4 years at a track livery, it has given me a vast amount of experience with all types of horses, on top of working with horses at a riding school since I was 11, then moving onto at 19 to do my BHS Stages 1, 2, and Riding & Road Safety. At the Track Livery, we cared for every horse from novice eventers, to sport carriage driving cobs, through to challenging rescues, ponies with chronic laminitis, EMS, Cushings, and horses with complex behavioural challenges.

Having spent the last 10 years working on professional livery yards, I am keen to continue to per-sue my love of team leading and managerial level responsibility.

I’ve developed my skills from an apprentice, up to BHS Yard Supervisor, then moved onto Yard Manager for a track livery with 40 horses on site. Helping to rehabilitate horses with laminitis, Cushings and EMS. Working closely alongside natural horsemanship practitioners, and gaining a keen interest in biomechanics.

I am confident hacking both solo and in a group, but over the last 4 years have developed a keen interest in natural horsemanship practises. As well as learning from coaches who specialise in both natural horsemanship and classical dressage. I have knowledge and experience with classical in-hand methods, and thoroughly enjoy learning and developing this skill.
