Equine Work Experience
I have 30 years experience of working in various yards. Mainly stud and racing yards. For 18 months I have been working in an equine veterinary hospital, mostly doing the day to day care of the inpatients but also helping out around the hospital wherever needed, eg, bonescans, xrays, ct scans, colic re-feeding management, hand walking or grazing, going out with the ambo vets to assist with xrays, sales vettings, gastroscopes or scanning.
Specialities
I have worked on studs with foals and youngstock for 10 years. I have worked in an equine veterinary hospital for 18 months. I have experience in polo, eventing, hunter and racing yards.
Type of Ride Work
Racehorses both flat and NH. I have ridden in a race over hurdles at Hereford racecourse, I finished in 6th place from 16 runners. Hacking out hunters, eventers, polo ponies.
