Bio
Began riding as a child and lucky to have a loaned pony, then horse on an arable/broodmare mix farm up the road, and developed competitive skills from the Ponyclub. Late career change. Are there any English speaking yards in France ?
Qualifications

O and A levels. Basic equine first aid. BHS Pony club "B" test. Ride and road safety. Driving Licence.

Duties of Current Occupation

Polo yards 6 horses sole charge. Preparing horses for Chukkas/matches , stick and ball. etc Fittening ponies, turn in/out. Assisted day long rides, bringing in, tacking up ponies etc. Liase with clients, horse owners, visitors, club members etc.

Equine Work Experience

Pony Club. One day events. Hunter trails, showing. Brought on young thoroughbred and placed every time. Basic equine first aid, bandaging, plaiting, trim/pull. Polo groom, trekking abroad, private hunt yard, riding stables and livery yards.

Specialities

Optimising fittness as I truely believe that produces best results. Natural affinity with horses. Intuitive, meticulous and thoughtful. Happy working in a team or sole charge. I have show jumped, enjoyed working hunter classes, hunted, cross-country etc. Keen to broaden skills perhaps in dressage, or perhaps with foals and yearlings. Perhaps carriage driving. Adaptable. Flexible.

Type of Ride Work

Develop existing skills and discover new ones. I am looking for an English yard in Central France for freelance/part-time. Happy to come for a trail. Making time to know each horse, their different temperaments, apptitude to ensure best results for competing horses Long relaxed fun hacks. Rural location essential. Post and rail fencing preferred. Fit happy horses but any friendly quality yard is ok. Dressage and showjumping, showing and carriage driving. Hunting yard also considered.

Competition Details

One Day events. Placed every time. Brought on a young Thoroughbred horse who was eventually sold for A" Team Pony Club competitions.
