Student

Previous experience working in two riding schools (7 years) and a trekking centre (1 year). Completed stable management 4 and Ridden level 2 ABRS examinations including intermediate care award. Undergraduate student at Aberystwyth university studying Equine and veterinary science. Currently taking riding lessons to ensure I am confident in scales of training. Jumped in small yard competition (80cm) coming 2nd overall in the group.

Experience leading a team of around 11 volunteers to ensure horses are taken care of to a high standard and that lessons go ahead on time. Leading and teaching on a one to one basis as part of a group lesson to ensure rider is confident in instructors instructions. I enjoy mucking out and do so to an extremely high standard, taking great amount of pride in my work.

Main experience lies in basic riding school horses on the flat with a few jumping lessons in between. Worked on a green horse in the riding school to ensure ready for customers.

Small yard competition jumping 80cm and placing 2nd in the group.
