Duties of Current Occupation
General yard duties, handling and breaking in youngsters, riding, grooming,field maintenance, sole charge,organising vets feed etc, full responsibility of horses for owner, doing admin work, planning and organising.
Equine Work Experience
Worked within the industry for over 20yrs and gained valuable knowledge. Worked on dressage yards through to national hunt yards. Ran a private yard for 9years as a yard manager and team leader. Spent a year as a family PA and head groom running the day to day yard and creating exercise plans for the horses leading up towards competitions. Yard manager for a breaking and pretraining yard. Handling and breaking in young thoroughbreds, general care and management. Introducing breakers to the gallop and arean on daily basis preparing for the racing world. Selling young stock to loving new homes.
