Equine Work Experience
Started at age 8, I have experience in bathing, grooming, clipping, and trimming. Identifying common hoof issues. Managed water troughs, feeding schedules, and food stock, while organizing exercise routines and activities. I maintained horse equipment, performed health checks (worming, breathing, sunburn, and identifying early illness signs), and ensured environmental safety by managing poisonous plants. I also monitored behavioural changes.
At West Wilts Equestrian Centre Premier Show Centre and BCF Saddlery Events, I helped prepare horses for competitions by grooming, tacking up, and ensuring their readiness and care before and after events.
