I have obtained my pony club test up to C+.

Although I do not have any professional qualifications I feel I have gained a great deal of knowledge and experience from owning my own horses, being a member of the pony club and working on different types of yards.

Handling prescriptions & dealing with patient queries plus medication orders. Putting away of medication deliveries which we receive 4 times a day.

After leaving school in the summer of 2019, I worked on a small private yard looking after the owners two young showjumpers and I helped with the training and competing of the horses. In December 2019, I worked at a sales livery yard caring and training the horses on the yard. I was very often in sole charge as the owner had other commitments then went on to work on a sales livery yard.

I am quick and efficient at getting all yard duties done in good time. I have worked on the ground as well as ridden a 4 year old stallion. I have some experience in working with stallions having previously worked on a stud yard for a short amount of time.

I have previously ridden/competed a very temperamental 4 year old who needed a sensitive but firm hand to bring out the best in him. Throughout the time I spent riding him I took him to multiple shows and pony club camp where we saw an improvement in his attitude and willingness.

I have hunted with my previous horse with a friend who is a member of the North Hereford Hunt.

We've currently got a three year old connemara which me and my sister are in the process of backing.

For the past few years I have been a keen eventer, I have competed up to 90cm UA both independently and within the pony club.

I have attended numerous pony club Area competitions in all disciplines having also attended the Pony Club Eventer Challenge at Blenheim Palace in 2018.

At previous yards I have worked at I have been a groom in a competition environment.
