I do not currently have any equine-related courses or college qualifications. However, I am a current college sophomore in psychology, and I am working on transferring to Equine Studies with an Emphasis in Equine Training at Asbury University.

I have worked on several equine facilities throughout my life, where I cared for horses and other animals, conducted minor medical and illness treatment, taught riding lessons, did facility upkeep and maintenance, and did ranch work and repair.

I have worked with, handled, and done basic horse training for the last twelve years. I am particularly focused on natural horsemanship and positive reinforcement training. I have also taught riding lessons, and I currently own my own horse, who lives at my home with me, where I am her sole caretaker.

I have worked with mares, geldings, and have some experience with colts and young stallions. I have ridden on several competition teams in multiple disciplines. I practice positive reinforcement training, and I have much experience handling, turning out, and fulfilling the basic needs (i.e., feeding, watering, giving supplements, and stall cleaning) of equines and other animals.

I have ridden both English and Western, but I typically ride English. I am an intermediate rider, and I am most familiar with flatwork and jumping, but I have done equitation and a little dressage. I have ridden many geldings and mares of a variety of breeds (some of which include Quarter Horses, OTTBs, Paint Horses, several ponies, Arabian, many mixed breed, unpapered horses, gaited horses, and many more) in several disciplines.

I do not have much experience competing, though I did gymkhana, and Western pleasure and equitation when I was younger. I have, however, ridden on many competition teams in both English and Western, though I moved locations before competition season.
