Duties of Current Occupation
Teach private, semi-private, and group beginner- intermediate riding lessons to children and adults Market lesson program to grow client base Develop and maintain lesson horse exercise program Execute all aspects of horse care & barn upkeep
Equine Work Experience
I have extensive experience working with horses in a variety of settings, including as a riding instructor, horse camp manager, barn manager, groom, and stablehand. I have also worked with horses of all breeds and personalities, from lesson ponies to upper level Dressage horses.
Additionally, I have experience caring for horses with extensive medical needs, and am highly skilled at observing changes in behavior that may indicate an illness or injury.
Specialities
Horseback Riding Instructor:
My area of expertise is working with children, and beginner/ intermediate riders. I love introducing people to the world of horses, and am skilled at building confidence in timid riders. I also have experience growing successful lesson programs through marketing and community outreach.
Barn Manager/ Caretaker:
I have experience with all aspects of horse care—including feeding, mucking, grooming, lunging, first aid, and more—and overseeing barn staff.
