In charge of animal husbandry: administering oral medication and injections, medical health checks, and maintaining enclosures for a safe and clean environment. Also interacting with and educating guests on agriculture and livestock

I have roughly 13 years of horse experience. Horses were boarded at various locations such as Sycamore Trails Stables, Orange Park Acres, former Great Park stables in Irvine, and the former Rancho Del Rio Stables. I actively work with donkeys, mules, and horses; I oversee their training, basic medical needs, and overall healthcare.

My specialties include equine yearling behavior training, coordinating with other farm staff fundraising events for the associated non-profit, teaching public classes regarding agriculture and livestock, aiding during rescue, and creating pristine living quarters for animals.

OTTBs and quarter horses were the main types of horses I have ridden and worked with. Young equines, including mules and donkeys, have also been under my care but for basic training rather than riding. I was typically assigned to assisting in warm ups before a competition or aiding in ground work.

I have been in charge of being a competition groom for English style competitions, and the equines at my current barnyard are also held to a high standard of grooming. I have competed in the past, but for lower division classes.
