Internship -Exercised and helped train client horses -Fed and gave water to each horse everyday in the morning, afternoon, evening, and at night -Was in charge of turnouts and who the new horses coming in would be turned out with -Monitored horses health and statuses. -Worked with ranch hands to clean stables and riding areas. -Supervised guest safety during horse rides and interactions to provide safe and enjoyable ranch stays for guests of all ages. -Groomed and tacked up horses for trainers to exercise -Handled and checked in clients for events such as shows, clinics, and play days. Riding Instructor -Evaluate horses to determine their temperaments, abilities, or aptitude for training. -Feed and exercise horses or provide other general care, such as cleaning or maintaining stalls and arenas -Keep records documenting animal health, diet, or behavior. -Gave one on one riding lessons to girls ages 7-15
