I have been riding since childhood, and owned and cared for my own horses. I rode in pony club up to C3 level, and competed in breed shows, gymkhanas, and hunter/jumper shows. My family bred thoroughbreds and KWPN. I have experience with foaling and caring for foals. My first summer job as a teen was trail guide. My first job out of college was working at a mare and foal boarding facility in Kentucky.

In recent years, I have been traveling and doing two jobs - starting young horses and leading horse tours. I have put first rides on several dozen horses from Arabians to drafts, improved problem horses, and shown many tourists a fun (and safe) time. I have experience with multiple day rides/back country camping. I have some experience teaching children and adults to ride.

I can ride English and Western (and have some experience with other disciplines like endurance racing, South American gaited horses etc) and happy in either seat. I also have experience with equine first aid.
