Duties of Current Occupation

Managed daily horse care, feeding, turnout, barn operations, staff supervision, scheduling, veterinary and farrier coordination, client communication, facility maintenance, and herd health while maintaining a safe, organized environment.

Equine Work Experience

I have been involved with horses since I was six years old and have experience riding both English and Western. Professionally, I have managed daily horse care, barn operations, herd health, staff supervision, and facility management. My experience includes coordinating veterinary, dental, and farrier care, developing horse-care systems and SOPs, monitoring horse health, administering medications as directed, and maintaining safe, organized facilities. I have a special interest in senior horse care and have volunteered with therapeutic riding programs. I have also gained introductory experience driving horses and carriages, competed at the lower levels of dressage, and have limited experience wrangling and guiding horses on trail rides. I am always eager to continue learning and expanding my horsemanship.

Type of Ride Work

I grew up riding western lessons focusing on poles and barrels. In my teens I was introduced to natural horsemanship and expanded my knowledge, later on a did a little horse drawn carriage and was a groom for one show. After that I then switched disciplines and started into the Eventing world. I showed low level dressage until my gelding retired.

Competition Details

I did a week in early 2000s as a groom for carriage driving. Years later I competed a low level schooling shows in dressage.
