I've been riding since I was 5 years old. I rode with Heather Whitney and Arlene Wingfield for about 3 years. Both of these trainers were taught by Barbara Oakford Worth. For 1.5 years I rode with Grand Prix Niki Christison. During that time I was fortunate enough to ride in a clinic with Bernie Traurig and compete in rated horse shows. I leased a Hanoverian mare who was bred and trained by Sandy Campbell. I also was a training assistant for Heather Whitney. I helped care for 50-60 horses in her training program. Daily tasks included tacking up, warming up, assisting vets and farriers, horse treatment and rehabilitation, and helping with equine massage. I've taught beginner riding lessons on and off for the last couple of years and have enjoyed the experience. At the past two barns I've had ranch hand experience which included cleaning stalls, feeding horses, blanketing, turning out, and distributing medications. I am fully committed to my passion and love for horses and the life.
