Bio
I've been a trainer for 30 years, starting off in the Hunter/Jumper world and over the past decade focusing on colt starting and helping troubled horses. My philosophy is based on understanding the horse as a prey animal and as a herd animal.
Qualifications

Have competed in the ‘A’ circuit Hunter/Jumpers for 35 years, have run my own 20 horse stable for 10, worked for numerous trainers. 10 years ago I started my own Equine Assisted Learning curriculum as a part of my training business. Got certified in EAGALA, and also completed the certificate programs with Equine Alchemy and Creative Awakenings, Intl.

Duties of Current Occupation

I've taught all levels of lessons and trained all types of horses. I ran my own show barn for 25 years which entailed managing staff, hauling rigs, administering vet care, managing shoeing care, driving tractors, interfacing with clients

Equine Work Experience

Lifelong horsewoman for the past 45 years…can do all tasks from mucking stalls to driving rigs to starting colts to teaching upper level jumping lessons.

Competition Details

USEF “A” show experience and awards. As a teenager I groomed and braided for "A" circuit barns. Since 1994 I have run my own A show circuit barn of 20 horses.
