Husband is getting out of ARMY 2022 so we want to move to Florida to be closer to family, heat and more horses 🐎
Equine Work Experience

Riding since I was 7 and volunteered at barns untiI i found work after school cleaning and caring for horses from Arabians to Percherons. Rode and helped with summer camp doing H/J and finally found Dressage at 18 at Ten Broeck Farm, MA.

I wanted to move south so I went to the coolest eventing farm in Landrum, SC. I preferred staying on the ground so I went to Valhalla Trakehners in Florida & became Barn Manager of 100 horse farm @21 y.o We hosted clinics, sold horses, collected & shipped semen as well as AI on site.

2017-18 Centerline Dressage in Houston, TX I rode with Karen Brown and worked with young horses through schoolmasters. She helped me to find rhythm and tempo to relax the horses neck and back without quickening their pace and overall suppleness :)

Currently in Colorado Springs with my husband as he leaves the ARMY. Willing to drive if compensation is fair.

Specialities

I am self motivated when trained on what to do and will take initiative to get tasks done as needed. I enjoy grooming and helping trainers show and really enjoy the background work. Making sure all the little things are taken care of and horses are happy while having a smooth show experience are my favorite! I’ve braided in the past and really enjoy it!

I have dabbled in equine massage and intend to go to school for it in the long run. I know some natural horsemanship basics as well.

Type of Ride Work

I’ve schooled 3rd level dressage on a Lusitano Stallion. Ive only shown training and first level but have schooled FEI movements at home. Helped start young horses from the field up until the backing and one of my coworkers would ride while I lunged. Then taking on riding from there

I learned good basics in ground work and some massage techniques from therapists between visits which I was pretty good at to keep them from getting too tight again

Competition Details

My show record isnt that extensive but when I have shown I scored in the 60s - 70s and have groomed at numerous shows and really enjoy the behind the scenes work. I was named after my Auntie Cindy who was an attorney's personal assistant & I think we're both really good at helping others succeed
