Equine Work Experience
I've been working as an instructor/groom at Brooklyn Equine, providing riding lessons and ground horsemanship skills for 10-12 students per day, in addition to hack rides for ride-level adults through Prospect Park in partnership with Manhattan Riding Club. During this time I schooled and assisted in training 14 horses, reporting (and tending to) behavioral and physical health observations to owners. Additionally, experience in assisting vet with end of life. During my college career I worked as an instructor at Stratford Stables teaching flat work and beginner jumping. I competed for years in Equitation, Hunter/Jumper divisions in the New England East Coast. Some experience with Dressage. I will be relocated from NY to CO by end of July, living on land where an Equine Therapy Practice will be ran. I am focusing on earning certifications as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Body Worker.
Type of Ride Work
Over my 12 years of riding experience I've ridden and worked with problem horses/ trauma background, young/green horses, and very trained show horses. Types of ride work include flat, jumping, trail riding, eventing.
