Duties of Current Occupation

Oversees the instruction of 6–65 year-olds in a group format, 1:1, and responsible for a high level of training and showing, and safety procedures. I give training rides on school, customer, and sale horses. I am CPR and First Aid certified.

Equine Work Experience

I have been around horses since I was 6 years old and teach riding, equine management, and show preparation for the last 6 years. For 2 years I worked alongside a Hunter Jumper trainer here in Colorado, working in the A Circuit. I learned the proper tools needed to have a successful ride and round. I also am a lead instructor teaching children to adults in beginner to advanced riding skills to showing.

My adaptability allows me to work in many different environments in addition to communicating effectively with people from various backgrounds and cultures, as well as sign language. In 2017, I was accepted as a working student to Germany, working with a rated dressage rider, Klaudia Duif. I truly enjoyed this experience as it challenged me and made me a better equestrian. Further, I have worked at stables and was a groom for roster equitation Olympic rider, Clare Drummond. Under her, she taught me about equitation, proper dressings, show quality grooming and much more.

Worked along side with head H/J coach teaching all ages to ride and jump. Assisted in the running of show camps and pony camps. Assisted with the turnout of multiple horses. Assisted vet team with medical procedures, including but not limited to: vaccines, de-worming, floating, pre-purchase exams, open wounds, stitches, and radiographs Groom for Olympic rider, Clare Dummound and was a working student in Germany for professional dressage rider, Klaudia Duif.
