Certified Equine Massage Therapist

Formerly a barn manager and FEI groom, I coordinated daily horse care and activities within the barn. Ensuring the health and welfare of 20 horses on the property, including managing their nutritional plan, is of the utmost importance. I scheduled and assisted with routine care, including veterinary and farrier appointments, administering medications, treating injuries and illnesses in accordance with veterinary advice. As well as being the barn manager, I was the personal groom to two upper-level event horses, handling their daily therapies, grooming, and prep, as well as serving as the groom at shows. I have now gone off on my own after two years of helping start young horses, train, and advertise sale horses. I am continuing my education in training and young horse development while also working as an equine bodyworker.

I have worked around a wide variety of different horses over the years, from top notch eventing competition horses to young and green horses to western trail horses. I am currently a competitor myself and take lessons weekly to stay in top riding form.
