Qualifications
I took a 1 semester Equine Science course as a senior at Killingly High school within the AG department.
Duties of Current Occupation
I work at 2 barns, mainly Rivendell, and sometimes at Windham Hill Farm. Both of these barns trust me to take care of regular feeding, turning horses out or bringing them in, cleaning stalls, and making sure the barn is clean/organized when I leave.
Equine Work Experience
I currently lease a quarter horse at a barn in Sterling, CT where I also take lessons and feed the horses (20 horses) at least 3 times a week.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden horses in both flatwork and jumping work. I am currently competing with the horse I lease at both schooling and sanctioned eventing shows.
Competition Details
I have completed and volunteered in competition yards. I have completed at open shows, schooling eventing shows, and sanctioned eventing shows. I have volunteered at some open shows to help out with gates and warm up areas.
