I do assist with farrier and hold each horse for the farrier, and assisting with, and helping 100 volunteers understand proper horse care, and would come help with afternoon horse care and pm horse care throughout the week and sometimes weekends if needed. I did maintenance of the property and farm, raking the indoor and outdoor arena, mowing and weeding the farm as well,And general property/ farm manager responsibilities. I came up with night check for the farm when i was the caretaker here.

I’m a honest man with respect and care for my small family I have with my fiance and 2 Cavapoo’s . I’m just looking for the opportunity and chance to give my passion to someone’s farm and animals that live on the property.

I worked as a farm hand for fashion farms in new hope Pa. This was a race horse farm with all Standardbreds. My day would consist of mucking 12 stalls with the other farm help,turning out 12 yearlings to the equi-ciser 3 at a time. Light Grooming them and picking there hoofs. And would help with moving some broodmares to different pastures on the property. And would help when needed walking foals and grooming them. The farm was selling all there horses at the beginning of November. I was currently working for southern Delaware therapeutic riding center as farm caretaker/ barn manager assistant with 7 therapy horses caring for them giving meds, each morning and sometimes pm when needed if not done by the volunteers. I also will help with ordering grain , sometimes doing hoof wraps on any horse that needs one . And just started to learn leg wrap while working here. I do assist with farrier and hold each horse for the farrier, and assisting with, and helping 100 volunteers.
