Duties of Current Occupation

I have been working with horses off & on for 22 years; ranch work, private farms, client barns, dressage, hunter/jumper, racehorse breeding (broodmare), etc. Competent in all aspects of equine care. Communication & organization are my highest values!

Equine Work Experience

Mucking, feeding, grooming, braiding, clipping, medication administration (IM, IV, oral, topical), handling foals/yearlings/broodmares/stallions/green horses, assisting with foaling & aftercare, ordering feed & supplies, scheduling vet/farrier, managing staff, giving lessons, hippotherapy, event planning, fundraising, social media, etc.

Specialities

Communication & organization are my highest values. I have excellent managerial skills, but can also work as part of a team & under management. Constantly improving efficiency motivates me. I can multitask, am always in a positive mood, and, above all, I’m not too set in my ways to keep me from adapting to each individual farm’s way of doing things, despite my vast experience on numerous farms. Currently, I live in Jupiter, FL, and am studying online so I'd be willing to consider relocation.

Type of Ride Work

Experienced in all Western disciplines as well as dressage.

Competition Details

Competed in Western shows for 6 years (barrel racing, pole bending, etc). Worked the Fasig-Tipton Winter Mixed Sale in Timonium, MD. Groomed hunter/jumpers for the WEF in FL, as well as Germany. Worked for an Olympic dressage rider as a groom/handler. Worked several equine summer camps.
