stable hand/horse caretaker:

• washed horses & untacked & tacked them
• fed horses & provided water
• turnout horses, brushed & groomed them
• picked stalls & cleaned tack rooms
• checked horses to ensure their in well condition with no issues

I have worked with horses for 10 years and started when I was just a kid. I have worked as a stable hand for over a year and often volunteer at a nonprofit horse riding center. I have done all responsibilities I have listed above and often ride for fun. I absolutely adore horses and I own a Palomino and 2 miniature horses! I am very familiar with horse behavior, as well as any concerns to look out for regarding their health. I am aware of things like how horses can overheat easily and how important it is to check them for any Injuries. My father is a national champion in horse back riding and has taught me a lot regarding horse behavior and the do's and don'ts of the horse world.

I have ridden Palominos and thoroughbreds. For fun I love to jump and do basic flat work on both english and western. I have been riding western for 10 years and english for 2 years.
