no documented education but have received formal training from a Equine professional and learned everything on the job, including administering medications under supervision—oral, sub-dermal, and rectal, assisting with treatments as needed.

I’ve lived the daily side of a ranch: feeding, grooming, mucking stalls, keeping tack and equipment in working order, giving meds, working with vets and farriers, and keeping the barn and herd handled when it fell on me.

I’ve pretty much done it all on a ranch. From the everyday chores to stepping up when something went wrong, riding green horses, handling hot ones, and managing whatever needed doing. I’m comfortable taking full responsibility for horses and the day-to-day running of a place.

I’ve worked with foals, mares, stallions, and competition/ racehorses. I’ve started green horses and taken them through breaking ground work, backing, and first rides getting young ones to accept tack and a rider and moving them on from there.

I’ve ridden Clydesdales, Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Gypsies, ponies, Arabians really just a ton of different horses. I’ve done jumping, roping, cutting, barrel racing, and tons of trail riding.

I have groomed both a racehorse and a barrel race horse, handling daily care, feeding, grooming, tacking, and preparation for training and competition.
