Equine Work Experience

I've worked for many top professionals in the industry in Massachusetts and Wellington Fl. I was both a groom and rider helping with daily duties such as stalls, tacking/untacking, setting courses, helping with vet/farrier, helping with medical care if their were any injuries or cuts, doing ground work with young horses from 6 months to 5 y/o, lunging, wrapping, taking horses to shows. In previous jobs I’ve taught beginner to advanced lessons, helping students gain a good riding foundation and achieve their goals whether it be on the flat or over fences. I also helped with training rides on the lesson horses and client horses. I have previously done free-lance riding in different parts of Connecticut, primarily helping clients with their green horses, and backing young horses.

Specialities

young horse development for polo and hunter/jumper, have worked with horses as young as 6 months; flatting, schooling over fences, helping at horse shows from grooming to getting clients to the ring, management of up to 20 horses.

Type of Ride Work

My primary focus is hunter/jumper. My husband is a professional polo player and I manage all of his and his sponsors horses. I've worked with and developed young horses for polo, hunters and jumpers.

Competition Details

I have previously worked for show barns in Massachusetts, also grew up showing along the east coast with a successful record with a variety of horses. I groomed as a junior/amateur and professional, recently started horse showing again myself as a professional.
