Give horses food and water. Clean equipment like saddles and bridles. Clean, brush and clip horses' coats. Muck out stables and replace bedding. Monitor the condition of horses and report problems. Treat minor wounds, change dressings, etc.

I have been riding horses for nine years, developing my skills and deepening my passion for equestrianism. Since moving to Florida, I’ve also been volunteering at my local barn, helping with everything from caring for the horses to assisting with anything they may need.

I have worked with off-the-track Thoroughbreds that have been injured or hurt before, during, or after their racing career.

I mostly do flat work and maybe some jumping. I work on the ground like positive reinforcers, and doing liberty.
