Qualifications
I had the opportunity of participating in a Tik Maynard clinic.
Duties of Current Occupation
Prepared feed for horses. Tacked horses for trainer and owner. Walked horses before the trainer would ride. Cleaned and organized the barn. Ensured equipment was intact and clean. Administered medication. Turned horses out to pasture.
Equine Work Experience
I have been an Equine Groom and Rider and stable hand at several facilities. When I was living in Iowa I also had a pet and farm sitting business.
Specialities
I’ve worked with foals but it’s been awhile. My husband has worked with studs.
Type of Ride Work
I’ve ridden Quarter horses, thoroughbreds, warm bloods, and a few drafts. Mainly flatwork. Haven’t consistently been riding since the end of 2024.
Competition Details
I have competed but not since September 2023. Worked in a show barn from 10/2023-6/2024.
