Equine Work Experience

Riding for 40 years and training for over 25 years. I worked at a sales barn for 11 years in my younger days and have ridden everything and anything! Small enough to ride the ponies yet strong enough to ride and handle warmbloods and drafts. Spent a lot of my career working with OTT along with other breeds. Started babies, taken them through to A show level. Shown many disciplines: ponies, hunters, jumpers, equitation, etc (jumpers is definitely a favorite area and where I have spent alot of time in the show ring). I have traveled the A circuit and managed farm both private and commercial from Long Island, New York to Wellington, Florida. I have managed a 300 acre Polish Arabian breeding farm and handled all aspects of breeding, foaling, first aid, etc. I have pulled many horses from slaughter auctions and turned them into wonderful and successful riding horses. Teaching children and adults alike is something I very much enjoy. Watching a student reach the next level is so rewarding

Specialities

Schooling, training and showing, ground work and building a true working individual relationship with each horse I put my hands on. Enjoy managing and people along with the animals. I love to teach children and adults as well! Breeding and foaling is another aspect of knowledge I have and love as well as have assisted equine vets for years in NY and FL.
