Bio
I would need at least 3-4 weeks notice before starting to give a notice to the barn I am currently working at and move. I would like to bring my dog (very obedient, great with kids/dogs/people/horses) but that's not imperative.
Qualifications

I have years of experience in and out of saddle but I'll definitely need to work alongside a trainer to further my riding experience. I have 12 years of handling, working for my riding for 9 of those years. The past year I've furthered my knowledge in management after getting a promotion and stepping up into a difficult and demanding role. I am now a confident as a boarding barn and training facility manager with 3 years of experience in that field, who plays it safe when it comes to safety.

Duties of Current Occupation

I oversee feeding, staff schedule, barn chores, daily maintenance of 70+ horses, scheduling vets, farriers, grain and supply orders, and working alongside trainers, vets and farriers to keep the horses feeling their best.

Equine Work Experience

Over the span of 12 years I went from a middle school aged child cleaning stalls in exchange for lessons to working student, to exercise rider, to competitor, to a FEI 5* event groom and now to manager. I’ve been a show groom for dressage and eventing, I’ve competed up to novice level eventing, and I have experience with horses of ALL ages.

Specialities

I'm extremely good with people of all ages. I am also one hundred percent dedicated to the horse industry and I'm not afraid of hard work. I think fast in emergency situations, I never panic and I've been told I have good instincts. I learn quickly, and I'm not afraid to ask questions. I'm young, and I know that even with 10+ years of experience behind me there is a long way to go, and I am always ready to learn and get the job done right.

Type of Ride Work

most comfortable in eventing/dressage. Currently out of shape after not being in a regular riding position following down time from a bad car accident. The knowledge is there, but the fitness is catching up. I also have experience in hunter/jumpers, but it has now been a few years.

Competition Details

Showed lightly in the hunters, and competed up to novice level eventing before getting into a car accident and taking a year off.

Since then I’ve bought a late started thoroughbred who is ready to show BN and 1st level dressage. Hoping to event him this year, but the dressage is extremely important to me so we are both working at solidifying our foundation.

Photos of riding are out dated and do not show the past 2 years, if riding important can send photos/videos
