If local I can live out...but willing to relocate for the right offer!
Qualifications

I’m an expert horseman because of my length of time working with them. Ive been a level 3 in Parelli years ago, before it was cool... I do use a lot of natural horsemanship and modern methods to train and ride. Many years managing facilities. Various disciplines and breeds.

Duties of Current Occupation

Teaching a solid foundation, discipline specific training, all grooming duties, equine nutritionist knowledge, basic saddle fit knowledge, cleaning and conditioning leather and some repair. Managing every aspect of a facility. Competing locally.

Equine Work Experience

Ive been in the horse world for 30+ years. Ive dabbled in many disciplines and all different breeds I’m familiar with. Race track horses, driving horses, lesson horses, dressage, jumping, breeding and sales/consignment.

Specialities

I am very detailed oriented & like things done “correctly”, what makes the most sense. Natural horsemanship. I love starting colts including gentling mustangs. I have lots of experience in the restarting/problem horse area as well. I’m very savvy in equine nutrition and first aid. I’ve had several barn management jobs as well as running my own businesses. I’m a confident rider, I do well with green beans. Saddle fitting knowledge, leather cleaning & conditioning experience. Some leather repair.

Type of Ride Work

I competed in Hunter/Jumper as a child/young teen. I worked on a thoroughbred farm where we started and breezed our pinhook horses. Ive exercised on the track for a couple seasons. Ive ridden fei level dressage and jumping horses (my trainers). I can jump a 3’ course with ease. I enjoy eventing and dressage, but have also ridden some reining horses and ranch riding horses. I can start a horse under harness also.

Competition Details

I competed locally as a young teen. Ive also competed locally here in Florida. Nothing fancy, bringing green beans along. I haven’t competed in many years, but I am a fast learner and love to ride.
