Qualifications
I’m great with children. I have experience teaching lessons and have taught kids to steer through their seat through W/T/C. I have taught the same to some adults as well.
Duties of Current Occupation
Horse turn out, feeding, grooming, mucking stalls, tacking up, some riding in hunter/jumper and dressage. I keep an eye out for loose shoes and injuries to the horses. For recent past been doing barn management.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding since I was 7. I grew up riding just to ride and would always turn horses out and muck the stalls so I could ride. I worked at a hunter/ jumper and dressage school for season in Wellington FL. I have experience lunging horses (if they are have been started) I have ridden green horses and have a solid seat. I can W/T/C bareback. I was a trail guide for two years and love teaching people about horses.
Type of Ride Work
I have been riding since I was 7. I rode and cared for horses just cause I loved it and then I stopped due to moving down to FL. In June of 2020 I started riding again and in November of 2020, I sat in an English saddle for the first time and fell in love. I have jumped cross rails and have done beginning dressage. I’m working on my independent seat. I have worked with untrained horses for the majority of my childhood.
