Duties of Current Occupation

Gained extensive hands-on experience at a veterinary office, eventually becoming a veterinary technician. Responsible for clinical operations, maintaining patient records, and safely handling animals in a fast-paced environment."

Equine Work Experience

"I grew up on a plantation where we raised American Quarter Horses, Appaloosas, and Texas Longhorns, gaining experience handling horses of all ages, from young prospects to older veterans. I previously showed in Western Pleasure and frequently broke in horses for my aunts and uncles, winning various ribbons and awards. I also taught school friends how to ride and gave lessons as a way to earn an allowance. Currently, I am actively working on my Paint stallion!

Specialities

"I have years of experience working with all breeds of horses across all age groups. My daily duties include grooming, hot walking, ground work, feeding, stall cleaning, and maintaining a tidy barn and work area. Additionally, I have veterinary technician experience, including administering medication, bandaging, and providing first aid for both equines and canines. I currently own a stallion, and I have assisted with past castrations and subsequent aftercare."

Type of Ride Work

Western pleasure, bareback, trail, and halter class shows make up most of my experience. I've ridden Quarter horses, Appaloosas, I had an Arabian stallion when I was a girl. also had a retired Thoroughbred gelding for a short period. I prefer to ride without a saddle but I can ride with either western or English majority of my riding has been without a saddle and the second most would be with the western saddle
