As a barn manager I feed, groom, tack horses, monitor horse health and perform first aid as needed. I maintain facilities, handle day to day operations, scheduling and ordering supplies. I am a quick and eager learner with a good work ethic.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked professionally with horses for over a decade, turning my passion into my profession. I have worked with young foals to aging seniors and adapted to their needs. I am not intimidated by difficult horses, I believe you have to take the time it takes because every interaction is a training moment. I will never treat your horses roughly or with spite.
Specialities
I love working with horses in rehab. I have been trained in cryotherapy, Magnawave, Class 4 Laser, Photovia, therapeutic ultrasound, Bremer blanket, 3n1 Blankets, Theraplate, Ice Vibe, massage and stretching. I am a confident rider. I am able to care for wounds and help create a routine to rehabilitate horses. I am able to give injections and oral medication. I have led a team and created systems to communicate effectively.
Type of Ride Work
I am skilled at riding through obstacle courses and through trails. I can pony multiple horses for exercise. I can do flat work exercises for hot horses.
