Duties of Current Occupation
Overseeing 20 horses and ensuring safety of clients and volunteers
Equine Work Experience
I have volunteered with multiple barns, as well as worked for lessons. I have experience with high level dressage horses, as well as intermediate level jumpers and cross country horses. Previous tasks have included turnout on a schedule, feeding, watering, exercising, ground walking, lunging, grooming, washing, mucking stalls and paddocks, tacking up/tacking down, preparing horses for lessons, and cleaning tack, feeding, and basic medical care.
Specialities
I have had experience in a barn of 20 horses overseeing the safety of clients, volunteers, and horses. I have experience managing a crew, and I am very timely.
Type of Ride Work
I have 10 years of experience with hunter jumper competitions, and at a time had ridden many problem horses, fresh OTTBs, and young horses, but I have been out of the saddle for over a year.
