Duties of Current Occupation
I currently work in a General Practice Animal Clinic in Georgia, USA. I draw up vaccines, restrain pets, educate pet parents, and assist DVM’s with medical procedures. I also have experience keeping a medical chart and giving prescribed medications.
Equine Work Experience
Much of my working experience with horses has been under the table with my trainers as a way to earn my lessons. I have several references to vouch for my work ethic and drive.
I’ve ridden many different disciplines and I have experience with forward, green, and difficult horses.
Specialities
I have some experience with foals and broodmares, and I’ve handled stallions before.
In my current job, I’m often leading my team and taking a leadership role.
I work quickly in a barn and have a high level of attention to detail.
Type of Ride Work
I used to be the stickiest and bravest of my friends, so I definitely was put on many green/problem horses.
I’ve done several years of jumpers, pleasure riding, and mounted drill.
I’ve worked closely with a trainer in restarting a few, but never a completely untouched horse on my own.
