Qualifications
I have years of time and energy invested in horses and the industry we have created around them. I feel confident that there are not many disciplines and tasks I wouldn't be willing to try my hand at. I am a fast learner and very self motivated and disciplined. I have also taken dressage lessons under trainers such as David Ardi and JP Giacomini, as well as grooming for them. I have attended a myriad of different clinics and seminars on horsemanship and riding.

Duties of Current Occupation
Grooming and general care/maintenance of horses. Riding/exercise of horses through many different levels of training and disciplines.
Equine Work Experience
I have lived and worked alongside horses since before I can remember. From raising and training my own personal horses growing up to working as a groom and exercise rider for some top facilities-- horses are my life's work and passion. I have made it a point to get my foot in many doors throughout the industry and as a result I have worked under many disciplines- including cutting, dressage, jumping, driving and even polo. I have seen horses through every stage of life and everything that comes in between. I have reared foals and turned them into well mannered riding horses in their adulthood. I have also helped to develop as working athletes in their respective disciplines. I worked as a horseback trail guide in some of the country's most pristine wilderness where I was responsible for the care of a herd of 50+ horses. I have worked with horses of many different breeds and types and hope to continue expanding my equestrian horizons.
Specialities
I specialize in the detailed care of the horse, including wound care and wrapping. I have worked many many horses through their injuries and ailments back into being a sound working animal. I also specialize in understanding the needs of a horse as they come up in training and working through any problem behavior whether that be from the ground or under saddle. I love to lunge horses- it is one of my favorite kinds of work with a horse- I have lunged horses on a pesoa and lunging cavason.
Type of Ride Work
Recently, much of my ride work has been schooling young, green broke horses on the flat- making sure that they develop no bad habits and that their initial experiences under saddle are positive and dealt with calmly. This includes both work at home as well as exposing them to new, schooling/showing environments. I have also had the privilege of sitting some upper-level dressage horses, maintaining their daily fitness, meanwhile getting a sense for what younger horses should be developed into.
Competition Details
I have never personally competed, although it is a dream of mine. However, I have been a groom for many different kinds of competition and am no stranger to the demands of a competitive environment where things need to happen quickly and with attention to detail. For example, I have worked as a groom at polo tournaments where a new horse is needed every seven minutes fully groomed and tacked whilst simultaneously untacking and cooling the last horse.
