fully experienced of owning, training, & riding horses. my trainer would allow me to ride her horse at any time given asked permission. fully capable of turning out, mucking/bedding stalls, feeding, grooming, lunging, tacking, & bathing horses.

I rehabbed & rehabilitated the 14 yo chestnut mare on my own (pictured above) at the very age of 13 years old. She (Wendy) had been abandoned & neglected & when I received her she was skin & bones. I have documented progress with pictures/videos throughout the journey however these photos are on an older android phone so I’ve had a difficult time trying to transfer these photos/videos. Wendy was a wonderful mare who enjoyed jumping, however due to personal circumstances, the mare’s age, & minor training/health issues, after 2 years of successfully caring for the mare, I made the difficult decision to donate her to the Illinois Horse Rescue. I followed up & even visited the facility after she was transported, & later received the news that she was adopted by a family with 2 young girls. Wendy was a fantastic mare who never put me in harms way.

worked with green horses/ponies, training from the ground up. I assisted my trainer in breaking horses, leading horse summer camps at the age of 13/14 with young children, organizing fun “horsey” activities, following & enforcing safety protocols to keep children safe, & working horse shows at my stable I trained/boarded at. minimal experience with stallions & foals, however have been around both in the past. knowledgable enough to learn quickly with on hand experience for stallions & foals.

specializing in english flatwork & jumping with some green experience in dressage. I have ridden in the western saddle but still prefer english.
