My freelance work consisted of working at family friends farms in order to care for their horses needs in the stall and pastures. I would assist with grooming them and turning them in or out depending, as well as helping saddle them up.

I have basic horse experience as of writing this, i have turned out horses, mucked stalls, picked hooves, groomed, watered, fed, and overall cared for my neighbors horses on multiple occasions! I also have basic knowledge on riding horses at a walk and trot using western tack, however any faster would require some more training. i might be a bit green, but i have the grit needed to get the job done!

Ive worked mainly with a range of horses, young to old, which ranged from stubborn to bitey, sweet to timid! With my help my neighbors were able to get their stable chores done within 2-3 hours if we were grooming, feeding, and turning them all out. I also have a keen eye for detail and am able to tell if a horse needs a ferrier or vet visit, and am able to handle horses safely. I am also cooperative in teams and effective at communications and people handling. I also know basic first aid.

I mostly do flatwork as i am new to riding in general, but with supervised training i could probably do more than that.
