Bio
My name is Alex (nickname) I'm 21yrs of age and have been invested in horses nearly my entire life. I'm very team oriented and love working with clients/horses any day I'm needed. I also do find joy in barn chores, not just ridden work.
Qualifications

None

Duties of Current Occupation

I have confidently instructed clients of all ages low and high, from novice to low intermediate levels in hunters, beginner reining, and western pleasure. I have also worked as a show groom before and understand the duties when traveling and at home.

Equine Work Experience

I have been living and working with horses for the past 13 years. Though I can come off as as anxious or precautious at first,

Specialities

I have confidently worked with younger horses as well as stallions, I have seldom experience with foals though I'm extremely confident in my ability to catch on in that area. I've worked and competed with teams and LOVE being apart of one, whether I have active showing duties or not, I love the pace and feeling of community of working with a group of people.

Type of Ride Work

I've ridden and shown hunters, western pleasure horses, reiners, and more over the years, but I mainly specialize in the hunters, though, I have not personally had the chances to show in anything rated before. However, I have had the chance to work closely in such situations and have a confident grasp on what it takes to be a show groom at that level.

Competition Details

I have competed for a little over 4 years in the hunters as well as western pleasure. During that time I've learned to work within a team as well as a groom and assisting in instruction when needed. I'm confident in basic care while traveling as well as preparations for travel and setting up at different arenas and venues.
