As a barn manager, I oversee, but not limited to the ongoing operation of the barn, employees and clients. Daily, I prepare horse feed, supplements, water the horses, clean stalls, tack, bandage horses, bath horses. Also, preparing the horses for c
Equine Work Experience
Since 1998 I have had the endless pleasure of working on side of the most amazing horses known. During my tenure, I have the knowledge needed to put in force to exercise the comfort and care for horses and rider.
Specialities
My current day to day operation has allowed me the pleasure of maintaining the barn appearance with emphasis on cleanliness, and presentation. I assist the handling of stallions, geldings, foals, and broodmares. I am in charge of employees, animals, feeding, ordering feed and hay. Finally, I prepare/groom the horses for two trainers, and cool them down after.
Type of Ride Work
Saddleseat, and hunt seat riding is the specialty of my current position. I ride saddleseat as well.
Starting horses have been a pleasure of mine as well. Currently, I start them in the sense of doing everything to prepare them for a harness, and or saddle. Which ever is recommended by the two trainers.
