Duties of Current Occupation
Currently a Riding Instructor at an all girls K-12 school located in Maryland. Responsible from teaching lessons from Beginner to Advanced, running sold out summer camps, and assisting with horse care and training rides.
Equine Work Experience
-20 years of riding experience -10years of hunter/jumper experience -8 years of Eventing experience -worked with horses of all training levels -worked with young horses (3-5 years old) -Spent a little over 2 months teaching young riders from beginner level to intermediate with occasional advanced riders -Broke out 2-year-old thoroughbred stud colt under university instructors, brought from no proper handling to W/T/C under saddle, standing for farrier, loading, tying, bathing, clipping, line driving, and basic showmanship. -Re-Started 5-year-old QH Gelding over fences, and prepped horse to be sold at auction (Desensitized & clipped) -Sale prep unhandled Standardbred weanlings and yearlings for auction.
