Duties of Current Occupation
Camp counselor at a riding day camp where I taught stable management lessons and assisted with lessons. Also worked as riding staff at an all girls sleep away camp where I instructed lessons of my own and helped take care of horses and barn duties.
Equine Work Experience
Have been riding horses since I was 7 years old. Throughout middle school and high school I competed individually at USEF competitions as well as on a team through IEA. Was recruited on and competed for Long Island University division 1 equestrian team.
Specialities
Worked with six other individuals as barn staff to take care of approximately 60 horses. Was responsible for general barn duties like feeding, watering, mucking and administering medication to horses. This also involved getting horses in and out from turnout, as well as grooming the horses and providing help to riders.
Type of Ride Work
I've ridden english horses with a main focus in the hunter/jumper/equitation disciplines.
Competition Details
I have competed and am very familiar with the horse show world.
