Duties of Current Occupation
Caring for 18+ horses a day. Maintaining feed schedule, turnout, exercise, rehab, etc.
Equine Work Experience
I’ve been riding and working with horses since I was 7 years old. I was a working student for approximately 6 years. I was an assistant barn manager at a Dressage Barn for over 2 years. I haven’t worked since Novemeber 2021 as I got pregnant but wanting to go back to work now.
Specialities
Have handled stallions Have handled foals/yearlings I have experience leading a team as I was an assistant barn manager at one point I have very high standards when it comes to horses care & cleaning stalls.
Type of Ride Work
Ridden green horses, hot horses, problem horses. Hunter jumper, flatwork, have jumped up to 2’9. I have not ridden nearly as much as I’ve wanted to in the past few years. My last job didn’t really allow me the time to ride even though my horse was on property. I want to ride more & ride different horses. No experience in starting a horse
Competition Details
I competed in 4H shows 2007-2016 I competed in state fair in 2015 & 2016.
I have not been a competition groom but would love to be!!
