Bio
Hello! I'm a horse boy currently living in Baltimore. I started formerly riding in 2013 and have been working at barns since 2014. I primarily ride English with training in eventing. I also have experience working with disabled riders.
Duties of Current Occupation

Turned in/out horses, managed feeding, assisted with breeding Gypsy Vanners and assisting in births, stable cleaning, lead on trail rides, exercise horses, tack horses for lessons/events, assist riders with disabilities using accessible equipment

Equine Work Experience

I've always LOVED horses but I did not get the opportunity to start riding until 2013 when I was twelve. Since then, I've been riding English on and off, working at barns, helping with non-profits specializing in rescuing horses and working with disabled riders with either physical, emotional, and/or intellectual disabilities. I primarily ride English and have trained in eventing. Unfortunately I did not have the money growing up to do shows, so I primarily traded hours working for lessons and riding time. I have ridden a little bit of western and I have interest in learning barrel racing. While working at barns I have helped manage the care of high level show horses, breeding and care of gypsy vanners with an imported stallion from Tom Price's herd in Wales, helped manage specialized diets for horses with medical issues and high level training, worked with riders of all types of disabilities, and exercised horses used for lessons.

Specialities

I've worked with both foals and stallions, experience with gypsy vanner breeding, experience in working with both rescue and show horses, high turn outs, helping manage specialized diets and horses with medical issues, worked extensively with riders who have physical, emotional, and intellectual disabilities

Type of Ride Work

I've done flat work, eventing, jumping, and trail riding
