Equine Work Experience

My equine experience most recently has been acting as the head coach of the IHSA team for Appalachian State University, as well as the head instructor at their facility. I have also acted as the assistant coach/manager of the Hartwick College (Oneonta, NY) equestrian team, and interim coach for the SUNY Oneonta equestrian team coach. I was also on the coaching staff for Boston College, as well as Bentley College. I was also employed as a riding instructor and sales rider, teaching lessons ranging from beginner to advanced at Century Mill Stables in Bolton MA. I have groomed for show barns at HITS (Saugerties NY), as well as local shows in the upstate NY/Capital District area. My experience also includes working as horse show night watch employee, which involved monitoring show horses at various horse shows throughout the northeast, as well as WEF, Duke and RMI horse shows in Raleigh NC, and Traders Point in Zionsville IN.

Type of Ride Work

hunters and equitation, primarily competed in the hunters and jumpers. Schooling/flatwork for IHSA horse shows, as well as riding/schooling horses (from green to seasoned) for other clients. I also have experience riding newly imported sale horses, and riding them for clients both in and out of the show ring.

Competed at the Vermont Summer Festival as a junior in the jumpers, as well as competing at various other local (upstate NY/ capital district) horse shows, primarily in the hunter and jumper ring as an adult
