I currently work part time at a retreat center. I have also been self-employed cleaning of houses and pet care. My work requires me to be active, hard working, focused, and detail oriented with strong communication skills.

I have 30 years of equine experience, owning my own horses, taking lessons and teaching as well. I believe that systematically building the confidence of a young horse is critical to meeting their optimum level of success and contentment. I am patient, thoughtful and thorough in my approach. I train mostly Dressage, although I do enjoy cross training my horses with trails and jumping, I believe variety is essential to a happy and well developed horse. I foster a mutual relationship of kindness and respect, my expectations for my horse are the same for those of myself. I am passionate about continuing my education in correct training with an emphasis on strength building for sustainability through systematic exercises and biomechanics.

I love working with young horses. I am familiar with different disciplines and breeds. I have managed lesson programs and run summer horse camps. I have started many young horses, building them from the ground up to lower level dressage. I have trained my own Mustang from nearly feral to a dependable trail horse. I am currently developing my young Warmblood. I have shown at local and recognized shows. I was a member of 4H as a child.

I have done dressage, jumping and trail riding.

I have shown in huntseat at local and recognized shows. My goal is to bring my current horse along to show in Dressage and achieve my medals. I also have an interest in h/j and love trails.
